This course is an instructor-assisted classroom video-presentation, from the American Heart Association, designed for lay rescuers who are responding to cardiovascular and respiratory emergencies.
Course Modules include:
- Basics of First Aid
- Problem Determination
- Medical Emergencies
- Injury Emergencies
- Environmental Emergencies (Optional)
Students will practice these skills along with the AHA video and will be skills tested on these life-saving skills by the instructor. The First Aid class includes a series of questions in the student workbook that will be reviewed during the class.
